Who would have thought 5 years ago that a career in maintaining and building social networks would have existed?
Nowadays it’s a regular position available at many digital agencies, social media marketing, where said marketeer tweets on Twitter and likes on Facebook about whatever the company’s latest project may be. It’s an essential part of the marketing world that we live in today.
Times are changing quicker than you can ever imagine and sometimes it feels like maybe it’s passing us by without every having really understood what just happened…or maybe that’s just me…
Certainly when it comes to all things to do with the Cloud and cloud related technology it seems that, even though in reality the Cloud has been around for a fair while now, new applications or the latest software packages are constantly being updated and available to the average consumer at large.
With new ways of working and new technology, we can expect new ways of undermining said methods and for many companies, security can be a constant worry. However, thanks to exchange hosting, businesses can rely more on the security of the omnipresent cloud technology that powers their networks and backs up their data.
And yes, while it is true that your business has probably never been better protected, it is the cloud companies that have a commitment to maintain that level of security for their customers. This in turn means employing cloud security specialists to ensure their virtual barriers against viruses, hackers and loss of data are constantly present and up to date.
In a recent report, it was suggested that job demands in the cloud technology sector will rocket as take-up continues to grow year on year and there is no doubt that amongst all those jobs needing to be filled, the role of the Cloud security expert will be amongst those most in demand. Someone who knows the vulnerabilities and strengths of remote data storage, hosted exchange email services and someone who can have an overview of where any security can be improved.
Cloud security expert seems like a pretty niche job right? And there’s no doubt that it is a specialist role and there’s also less doubt in my mind that these roles are only going to continue to grow in demand as more and more companies get on board with migrating their technology to the Cloud.
So if you have a problem…if no one else can help…and if you can find them…maybe you can hire…the Cloud Team, a crack commando unit coming to a remote server near you in the not too distant future!
I love it when a plan comes together.
